When I was a junior in high school, I was “voluntold” to lead the sixth-grade boys’ Sunday School class. I had a good time on some Sundays. Other weeks, it was a real struggle! That began decades of experience teaching youth and adults. Over those years, I have learned so much about best practices, about how people learn, and about the important differences between teaching for information and teaching for transformation.
In this blog, I want to share some of what I have learned, as well as solid learnings from others. I want to point you to excellent resources. And, I’d like for us to have frank discussions on all things related to the Bible and to teaching the Bible.
I am glad you are here! Let’s learn together!
